We have several ski & snowboard schools which provide lessons in English or more languages! From beginners to advanced players, they arrange your lessons as your skills and requests. Please contact them directly for more details. Advance reservation is required.
Shiga International Ski School
Ski Lessons for kids and adults for all levels.
Snowboard lessons for all levels.
All lessons are in English. Other languages are available upon request.
Location: Okushiga Kogen ski resort, second floor of center house.
Ski Group lessons
For Adults and teens (13 years and older)
Group lessons with a maximum of 6 persons, full or half day are available, ￥10,500~ (tax included), lift pass is not included, make sure to bring a valid lift pass.
For Kids (until 12 years old)
Group lessons with a maximum of 6 persons, full or half day are available, ￥9,500~ (tax included), lift pass is included.
Snow board Group Lessons
For Adults and teens (13 years and older)
Group lessons with a maximum of 6 persons, full or half day are available, ￥10,500~ (tax included), lift pass is not included, make sure to bring a valid lift pass.
Private Lessons
Private lessons can be booked for one or multiple people. Ideal if you want to stay together as a family or improve your skills. Lessons as you like – start point, time, duration, and language are defined by you. ￥21,00~ (tax included).

Location: Shiga Ichii Hotel, or your hotel if you request in advance.
Private Lessons
Lessons are available in English.
For 1 person: ￥20,000/2H, ￥28,000/3H, ￥36,000/4H
For 2 people: ￥30,000/2H, ￥40,000/3H, ￥50,000/4H
For 3 people or more: ￥50,000/2H, ￥65,000/3H, ￥80,000/4H
Rental equipment and lift pass are not included.
We don not recommend having people of different ability levels in the same lesson.
